Pounce Alerts TCG

Privacy Policy

Last updated 5 November 2026

Pounce Alerts TCG, operated by Pounce Alerts (ABN 69 474 045 566), respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It covers the TCG shop at /tcg; the Pounce Alerts Marketplace Alerts service has its own privacy policy.

What we collect

  • Restock notifications: your email address and the product you asked about.
  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • Orders (once online checkout is available): your name, delivery address, email, phone number and order details. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we don't see or store your full card number.
  • Technical information: our hosting provider may record standard server logs such as IP address and browser type, used for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

  • To email you when a product you asked about becomes available.
  • To reply to your enquiries.
  • To process, ship and support your orders.
  • To protect the site against spam and abuse.

We don't sell your personal information. We won't send you marketing emails unless you've asked for them, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the shop, such as our website host, email delivery provider, payment provider and shipping carriers, and only as needed for them to provide their services. Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We may also disclose information where required by law.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.

Access and correction

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete your restock notification requests, by emailing [email protected].

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please contact us first and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
